Hi just wondering of anyones got good aftermarket catbacks for a Hatch your looking to sell please let me know, mainly looking for Invidia Q300 but may be open to others. Thanks.

Can I ask you, why you prefer the Q300? The reason I am asking is because I ordered a Cobb 3" catback after a ton of research.

 

Not that I prefer Invidia, just wanted to try something failry quite and the price point of the Invidia isn't as bad. How do you like your Cobb? It's pretty close second for me.

 

can you explain why you decided to get a cobb after said research? there's little to no difference in just a catback performance wise so what made you choose cobb? I had the Q300 on my sedan and i can say that the build quality is top notch. OP most exhausts out there will be similar so just get the one you like the look/sound of best. check craigslist there was a guy selling one a while ago.

 

if you end up wanting it brand new lmi i get good deals on those

When I chose the Cobb, it was really a close call between the Invidia and Cobb. I too was looking for something quieter. After reading as much of the forums I could stand and watching youtube clips I think the main reason was because I've seen a lot of cars with the Invidia. I like the fact that the Cobb piping is more of a straight through design. Invidia has those resonators and I'm sure they aren't restrictive at all but if the idea with a turbo exhaust system is to get as much flow as possible, I prefer the straight through design of Cobb. Lastly, I like the stock look of the Cobb tips as that is more of the sort of looking I am going for.

Hey I got a used tsudo N1 exhaust, it's not a quad tip exhaust. It's louder than the q300 and is coming off a 2012 wrx, about 1500 miles on it. LMK

 

Ah sorry I'm trying to stick with a quad tip and not too loud, but thanks for your reply!

Just an update, I got my Cobb 3" in today and installed it. It is way quieter than the Q300. I actually think it is too quiet. It sounds nothing like the youtube clips.
