there 17x8 with 235 40's i dont know the offset but the fronts stick outside the fender about an inch and the rears are about flush but when i turn i can here them rub, and i lowered the car a little more and dont have camber plates so im worried about damaging the fender

Also, there's a wagon on the lower 48 who tracks it with 285's, with stock fenders. I'm curious to this setup. I'll be going with 245's as soon as they get back in stock.

If the fronts actually stick out that much, you must be running a pretty low offset....+35 or less. As for alignment, do you know what your alignment specs are? Are you running coilovers or springs/struts? The reason I ask, with a wheel that size, you can probably get rid of any rubbing issues by adding in negative camber and rolling your fenders. My friend Julian (Sleepy Wagon.) in Cali ran an 18x9, +35 with 235/40's on stock wagon fenders, and his car is DUMPED. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1772719. It's possible, just roll your fenders and slam those camber plates in! When I had my wagon, I did a sedan fender conversion, but...........I was running 18x10's with 255/35's. My coilover camber plates were maxed front and rear, and my camber bolts were maxed front and rear. I was such a fool....haha, but it looked cool:

The car is SICK... yah im only running drop springs and kyb struts and the camber i think is like only -.3 so its almost straight but i really like the wide front look and i eventually wanted to go with wider rims to so i guess im just preparing for the future. thanks fort all the input =) i also want to go with coilovers later when i start work again any suggestions
