JIC GC Suspension.

I'm selling my JIC FLT-A2 suspension for GC body style chassis. I got it from Dylan used. 7K/5K spring rate front and rear respectively. $400? I've contacted JIC and the rebuild is around $35/ damper. I'm thinking the front is about to need a rebuild in around 10k. I've got it on my car currently and will install for others. Let me know, I'm going for a different type suspension. Maybe spring and strut. Call me if interested . Car will handle after this! 358-5269 Need sale, please?

It's been a while since dylan has bought them so I'm pretty sure warranty is pretty out of the question. I personally haven't had any bad experience with them. They replied my emails the same day if not, the next day. They were also very helpful and wanted to help me find setup that was very streetable (revalve, rebuild, new spring rates). I was gonna move the 5k springs into the front and get 4k-4.5- springs in the back. But, I'm lazy and I need money. Oh man i'm poor. Great deal I guess. You can buy new springs and have a total rebuild/revalve the cheaper than gettting new ones. The back were blown and rebuilt by dylan already and the front two were doing good when i got them, but i really think that it needs a rebuild around now. Anyone interested?

hmmmmm very very very tempting...are you interested in a trade plus cash for my AGX's with Teins? how do you know that the fronts will need a rebuild soon? aren't coilovers designed to last at least a good 20K miles? are you feeling some fault with the fronts? i really want to pick these up but i don't want them blowing on me after i pick them up....so a full rebuild plus parts will cost how much? sorry to hassle for all the info but just want to be sure...found out that my new rims and bodykit WILL need a coilover setup to work...thanks

Hugh

Make me hugh. If you want, I'll go try and get quotes for the whole rebuild thing and I'll let you know how much it will be and then you can shoot me a price. Do you want a rebuild and softer springs? or just a rebuild? They're harsh, but not as harsh as big D's thought (bozzspeed).

Yea.. the damper design is VERY nice. I've looked at it and compared to HKS and others and only the JIC and Cusco are similar. Height is INDEPENDENTLY adjustable so spring rate is not affected by ride height adjustment. I like it.. very nice feature.

thanks

thanks D...i never really heard anything bad about the JIC from the peeps on the mainland...just here in hawaii...i still believe that its a can of worms for me buying rebuild coils with the fronts "needing rebuild soon" i need to see what i'm jumping into first...it sucks cause i can't run my new rims and bodykit with my AGXs....

I really not sure how much longer it will last, it has around maybe 12k on them. I've heard some rebuild as soon as 14k. I've taken them off myself and checked it worked fine. The dampers rebound and gets harder as you adjust the settings. When I doubted myself, I took it down to HI-PACE and they said it was fine too. So I'm rest assured that they're alright. Up to you, I just want more softer ride since I have to drive my parents around soon. And you know asian parents: "like a horse... bleh bleh., my back hurts.. bleh bleh". Drop the price for you hugh PM me since you're my idol
