well i wanted the hole hood + scoop because a while back i got into a car acciedent and i got a new hood that go repainted and they did a ****ty job i wouldn't mind a CF hood though. thanks for the replys man, way better than forumshawaii lol.. not to diss

 

so you got a stock hood thats just baddly painted? then how come you just dont paint that one again at a good shop like jl auto? or Kens?

Kens did my sides. pretty good job, reasonable price. only $80

 

why didn't you tell them they F***ed up and have them paint it again? if it's not done to your staisfaction you can have them do it again, your insurance will pay for it.

 

well first off all, I wanted some Factory paint. Second there is no second, lol. yeah i would do a trade + cash or idk maybe a cf hood if anybody has 1.

 

i still don't get it. who painted your hood? even if they messed up pretty bad you could just have them do it again untill you were happy. if they couldn't get it right just tell your insurance company you want a brand new hood painted from the factory. you shouldn't mess around when it comes to your car. thats why you pay insurance. you have to sign a paper saying that the work is done and done to your standards. just one of those hindsight is 20/20 or things for next time. L8R

 

you can buy the factory paint from Redline....i did and it matches the stock paint thats on the car already, gold flakes and all.....just get your paint code and tell Redline they'll hook you up. then go to a better paint shop and get it done right this time.

IMO...i dunno anyone who would trade you there good hood for a hood that has a sh!tty paint job on it.

my 2 cents: get the factory paint and get that thing painted!
