hey you guys know any good places that can install turbo etc. here in da 808 i heard of wmr, sonic motorsports, munky werks...u guys ever went there or had them install anything in your car b4 or been to any other shops...we got a friend that has a black evo he told us not to go 2 wmr cuz they can make copy of your key and steal your car later on how does he know dat i have no clue...i'm just trying to see what other people have 2 say about this

 

i would say make friends here and have an install party.

Vakamon would be my first choice if that fails.

Oh and since you have an 05+ your key is chipped so its not as easy to just make a copy of your key. at most they can just open your trunk or doors.

Vakamon is the name of shop, there located behind the Porsche Dealership on Ala Moana Blvd. It's not hard to miss, you'll normaly see 5 or more subarus parked infront of it. Ryan and Davin run the shop, there phone number is ( 808 ) 593-1303.

 

WMR shut down a long time ago, they were located on nimitz hwy. I've heard of a story about them. They sold a turbo kit to a honda, took down the customers info and the car ended up getting stolen shortly after. The same turbo kit ended up in the WMR showroom a month later. Don't know if it's true or not.... Sonic Motorsports are really cool. I've went to them in my runumhard days with my intregra and nissan. But they really don't work on Subaru's though. Munky werks is located by best buy in town, great guys too, but they focus on drift cars like 240's and hachiroku's....

if i remember correctly the guy that does engine work rents space in the back and he use to be with the old WMR. for the most part it is now DJ's
