There's a High and low mark on the dipstick that goes in the hole where you filled it from.

whats the difference between this oil and the mobil 1 or penzoil synthetic oil?

is it just personal preference?

this is what comes standard in your sti's from the factory! you cant get it again from the local dealers since it only comes in 5gal drums...... its like crack for your tranny (& rear diff on non sti's)
