Did the Jdm 5th and 6th gear swap.Also put on a different rear diff.

JDM vs USDM shouldn't be that different. since you have a US STI you should have the same gearing if not very close to it. The rear end should technically be the same so why the change? I'm curious...

Jon, 5th and 6th are different for Jdm Vs. Usdm they are a closer ratio. apparently the us market got stuck with taller gears to meet tough us regulations.

i could never tell. i have a jdm sti transmission in my car and i've drove other sti's and i don't notice... oh well thanks for the info jess
