My roommate is selling his bike. check it out...
Yellow Black Honda CBR 929.
~12k miles. 1 owner, not a stunter. Located next to UH Manoa lower campus behind the pool.
Goodies I'm too lazy to remove and hork:
• Front forks resprung (0.95 Kg/mm) and the shims have been drilled good if you're ~180 - 210 lbs. Stiff if you're lighter, a pogo stick if you're a big boy
• Full Hindle High mount: Stainless exhaust headers and pipes, Titanium can. Canadian made since the blade is actually raced there, wanted a pipe that actually improved performance. Sounds throaty, not like those civic lawnmower cans.
• PCIII w/ custom fuel map by Rev-Tek Aiea (135 @ rear). Fuel management. If you don't know, ask
• Stainless Steel Brake lines front and rear. Not a huge improvement - but it sure is pretty.
• Scotts Steering dampner. Why doesn't every single bike have one of these factory?
• Corbin front/pillion leather seats, matching piping. Have originals but they're like sitting on a flooring tile wrapped in cardboard.
• Somewhat new diablo's (~1k). With huge chicken absolutely FREE! Nice to see my once proud road bike demoted to commuter cycle.
• Reverse shift - homebrew. 5 up, 1 down. The way it should be. Have original shifter if you've never raced and had the pleasure of a proper shift pattern.
Email inquires prefered, Easier to keep track. Test rides only to those with Class 2 license, prefer MSF card too. It hasn't been dropped and I'd prefer to keep it that way if at all possible.
$6000 OBO, but let's keep it reasonable. Don't ride my bike and then offer me 70% of my asking price. Trade in is ~$4300, resale is $6200. I've dropped an extra $2k on this bike. You could strip off the PC3 and Scotts and make yourself an easy $400. Seems like a steal to me.
