I have an iPod Touch, 2nd Generation, 8GB capacity that has some battle scars. There is a ding in the case near the power button, the case is pushed out slightly by the volume rocker and there are a bunch of scratches on the back.

The good news is that it powers up fine, holds a charge like new, all the buttons work and the screen is almost perfect. Any marks on the screen in the pics are actually on the screen protector or dust under the protector. I peeled off the screen protector to check the screen itself and there are no marks on it.

I don't have the box, headphones or cable, just the unit itself. I'm asking $50>SOLD. I will guarantee the unit for a week, if it just up and dies without any "help" from the buyer, I will refund the purchase price.

It's not pretty but it would make a good second iPod to toss in a gym bag or backpack and not have to worry about it or maybe a toy for someone too young (and destructive) to rate a new one. Would also be good to hook up to a car stereo with iPod controls, as I did with an old Nano that I had lying around.
