fs after market tmi
i have a sti top mount intercooler for sale. i drilled a hole in it to run meth so its now modified and no longer oem, so its aftermarket. open to offers, it also has been cracked, and broken. no lowballs plz

haha funny man. you were talking about the setup. knocking it, saying it was a 35 with a stock tmic. yeah, it was a 35 with a stock tmic running meth, i still say the tmic was modified from stock at that point with the meth injection.

so your point is that a modified oem intercooler is no longer oem because you added meth injection? it's still an oem(stock) intercooler and didn't magically change it's origins when you added meth. i mean you can paint it, polish it, and put a bow on it but a turd is still a turd no matter what you say. regarding your choice to use the stock tmic, if anything you may gain back the 10-15% of cooling efficiency with meth but you're also not considering the pressure drop. the stock tmic will have a higher pressure drop than a larger piping fmic and this translates to an increase in the initial air charge. you are basically countering the increase in heat with meth. yes it works(obviously) but is it better? thats negligable and really i'd rather have a fmic and not worry about it then have a potential cluster**** when the meth kits fails or runs dry.
