FS: 2005 Perrin STI for my twins
CAR SOLD!!!
Me and my wife have been planning for a year and with IVF, my wife is 2 months pregnant with twins!
So, hard to say, I am selling my 2005 CGM STI that I bought from Brent last year and added my own mods and maintanence to since then. Im needing the funds to renovate my house since termites damaged our roof and to redo our kitchen for the sake of our growing family. Right now, the MDX and Titan truck is more useful for me and Ill probably get back to a Subie later down the road, but for now, there is a need for a change sad to say.
As you all know Brent and I, we are meticulous about our cars. I added my personal touches to the STI since picking it up from him last year. I've added trick Prova blue side mirrors (like european concave side mirrors which I also loved and had on my LGT too), Bayson rear lower spats color matched by Oka Auto body, Mishimoto aluminum radiator, Samco upper and lower red silicone radiator hoses and flushed coolant, a Pioneer 310BT headunit that has USB (for Ipod/Iphone, other input), SD Card, and Bluetooth capability. I also relay wired the deck so you can watch a DVD whether driving or not (preferrably not). Phone microphone located on side of gauge dash for Bluetooth phone connectivity. Cleaned up the previous stereo wiring install with monster cables and sound deadened the front doors. Center console painted flat black and a red OEM Subaru Hazard light button added. Performance wise, I put on a Helix Catback exhaust which sounds great as not too loud nor tell you that this is not a stock car. I installed a Kartboy short shifter and eurothane bushings for better feel, and the best of them all are the RaceComp Tarmac 2 coilovers with front and rear Vorshlag adjustable camber plates. As you know, I sold the FLT A2 that were originally on the car as they were too race ready or stiff for me, and the Tarmac 2 (essentially KW3's fitted for the STI), are the best riding/performance compromise and easy to adjust coilovers. For daily driving, they are set where bumps and irregular roads dont even bother me. To me the STI has a much stiffer chassis than the LGT I had, and these coilovers made a world of difference in ride quality, I just had to pay a pretty penny for them. These have about 3k miles on them as I got them off a showcar from a Nasioc member. The car looks very oem JDM stock from the outside, and probably the best condition oem BBS rims Ive seen since buying the car. Ive also bought a new front passenger front fender and was color matched by Oka's Auto body as well so just the common few dings on the car. But judge for yourself by the pictures.
All other parts and pictures are below, and car has only 21,000 miles on them now. I paid $25,000 cash for it last year and my parts/fender alone added another $3500 and probably more off the top of my head to that price. Title in hand and clean and clear. Im asking $27,500 on CL which I know is a lot, but take into consideration the KBB on a low mileage STI and all the parts, money, and effort it would take to purchase what is on the car now. I will entertain reasonable offers, but please no negative remarks to my asking price and keep negative comments to yourself,...or I will have to sick my doberman on ya!!
