ok I don't get it. why sell your car? if you are going active duty once you reach your first duty station you will be able to ship your to your location for free. unless of course you are going to like Korea or any other restricted tour but then even then its only temporary. of course this applies to Army not to sure what the other branches regulations are. call me if you have any other questions.

Jess

sorry, mistook wased for detail. i use detail spray between waxes! ill update that lol.

@ jess, sorry dude i shoulda consulted you too first. but my MOS will be CTT-AEF in the navy and my A-schooling will be extensive, over 14 months on top of my basic training. itll be in florida, and i decided i dont really want to be paying insurance as well as car pmt.s and i cant have my insurance coverage reduced for storage since the contract agreed on the minimum insurance coverages. The navy would cover my transfer of my car, but ive thought about it and fought myself over it for a while, well since i got back from vegas in december.

I can see where you are coming from. Personally if it was me I would take the car with me. Just less of a hassle later on. I think you will regret in the end. Either way G/L with your military career I am glad that you chose to serve your country especially in a time of war.

keep it

Check into it, but depending on your situation and how long your tech school will be you might be able to take it with. Especially if you have a family. We got paid to take our jeep with but my school was 7 months long. Good luck.

HOnestly, I think you should sell it. Only reason I say that, is because all the money you will be saving while in Basic and School will be enough to buy a STI in the future.
All the WRX owners wish we had EJ25ʻs in our Engine Bay.

Like Jess said I wish you luck in your Military Career. No matter if itʻs 4 yrs or 20 yrs.

^^^yeah that. including basic training (air force) and tech school i was in training for a total of about 14 months before i got to my first base and as soon as i got there i got deployed so by the time i got a chance to buy a car i had a ton of money saved up.

just dont be like all those other idiots that when they get to their first base blow all their money at the bars. good luck man.
