FS: 2002 WRX - Needs Works $3,500 obo
To be clear, I do not know the history of this car. If you know me, I did a lot of Rally X and Hula X and been through a few Subys over the years. My original 2003 WRX had extensive body damage but had good parts. After ending HulaX, I decided to look for a new WRX with the intention of swapping all the good stuff to this chassis so I wasn't worried about the history of the car. I bought this a year ago and haven't done anything in 12 months So I'm trying to get rid of this as is. The Rally WRX was sold to another fellow RallyX-er.
Bad:
Engine needs work, expect to replace. I did drive it home from town to Mililani when I purchased it so I can at least confirm the transmission/clutch ran fine. The guy I bought it from said there was bad compression but I never checked but yes, the car ran like crap.
Registration and Safety expires end of October 2014.
Windshield has crack. But have a replacement windshield that will be included.
Paint is rough, Carbon fiber hood has no clear coat.
Interior seats need to be clean.
Front bumper kinda jacked.
Needs tint.
Over 100k miles per odometer.
The upside: has STi seats front and back, STi trunk (but WRX spring so it doesn't stay open), Gold BBS in good condition. I also have extra rear bumper, a 2.5 STi block (from my 08 STi) and a stereo. Body is straight. Might have other parts I can throw in too like a Top Mount (I have GD And GR), a VF48 turbo. Will throw in everything for the right price.
