FS - 02/04 Franken-STI
I'm putting my project car up for sale. It is originally a 2004 Subaru WRX STi that has had a BODY swap with a 2002 Subaru Impreza RS shell with the intent of having a complete USDM "Bugeye" STi. Everything including the engine, tranny, wiring harness (no splicing done), interior, steering, suspension, even nuts and bolts are straight from the STi. ONLY 27,500 miles on the car, swap was done at 14,800 miles in 2006, meaning there's less than 13,000 miles in 4 years put on this car since it was completely rebuilt with loads of new parts. Car has been babied and is garage kept - needs to be seen in person to be appreciated. There are some very minor door dings and scratches from the previous owner of the RS. Includes a lot of stock parts (if wanted) including stock suspension and exhaust. The car is VIN'd as a 2002 RS - meaning cheaper insurance rates. It has a clean title, current registration and safety.
$20,000 or will consider trade + cash for a older truck, SUV, or wagon (e.g. older Forester or Tacoma) as I need to replace my daily driver.
