A tad too small. 225s on a 8.5" wheel, yeah, I'd be nervous to AutoX on those.

225 is a perfect size for autox on 8.5", i have my rs3's on an 8" rim.

It shouldnt be too much of a stretch, think about it this way, it just makes the sidewall stiffer letting you run less psi. I'm thinking about running my 255/45/17 rs3's on 8-9" rims at some point just to stiffen the sidewall a bit.

joey joey joey... oh well.. lol. maybe we should have traded 225's for 245s once again, they're sittingon the side of my house right now, collecting dust. i put your old 225's on the 3 with the stock rims. much quieter.
