That intercooler looks like a riged setup and i would be sketchy about the motor why was it rebuilt who rebuilt it what?? there are a million questions i would have about this car. and i agree with tourexy on not buying i modded car i made that mistake and it was one thing after another that i had to fix. just my two cents.

First thing I thought. Swear to god.

Also, that engine by looks so hacked I wouldn't go within a mile of this thing for fear of oil or parts hitting my own vehicle.

And yes, the intercooler is upsideown/backwards. Guy is clearly a pro installer.

If this is the same car.That car used to belong a girl.I looked at that car when it had the 02 front on it.The motor had a loud tick when I looked at it.Just did'nt sound healthy.So I would say no.
