99- 2.5 RS Black 2-door $8000

Hi guys,

I'm sure some of you remember me. I moved to LA about 6 months ago. I'm having difficulty getting my dad to get my car on the boat to ship it here. In addition, I've found out its very difficult and expensive to get an out of state vehicle registered in California. So I've decided I might wanna sell my car.

Here's the specs for those of you who don't remember:

1999 Impreza 2.5 RS, Black 2 door, 5-speed, 66k miles

extras-

18" Bronze Rota Battles w/ Yokahama Parada Spec II est. 60% treadware left.
Custom Cat-Back 2.5" exhaust
Generic Cone Intake
Really nice 5-point seatbelts w/ Cam-Lock (I forgot what brand)
WRX 6-disc in-dash tape/cd deck
3 rockford 10" subs powered by (I think) an MTX 800 watt amp. (not currently in the car)

The car has been sitting for 6 months, my dad goes out and starts it about once a week. But it probably doesn't look too hot right now, it will need a detail job and a dent doctor to look really good.

Mechanically the car is in excellent condition, I have babied it. Oil changes w/ mobil 1 every 3000k miles since it was new. Redline tranny fluid changes every 15k miles. It has an alarm, but it doesn't work too good, something shorted in the alarm and the dash lights don't work anymore. The short will need to be tracked down, but it should be an easy fix for an alarm shop.

The car spent most of its life so far on the mainland, most of the miles are easy highway miles. It had 55k on it when I moved to Hawaii.

Blue book for the car is $9600, first $8000 takes it. But you have to act fast, my dad is supposed to be getting it on the boat to be shipped, if I can sell it in the next week or two I will, otherwise I'm just shipping it here, I really don't want to sell it, I love this car.

i knw man i cryed last night i called my parents to try to take out a 4 yr loan threw them and they said "good night shaggy and keep dreaming" damn it i need to start to begging on the streets like those other people that do it town and they got nice cars..
