2002 Subaru WRX Impreza
2002 WRX 125,XXX miles
VF34 turbo
Walbro fuel pump
STI pink injectors
APEX AVCR
Accessport V2
HKS Hi Power turboback exhaust
HKS Up pipe
Blitz Intake
Blitz Turbo Timer
Hella Supertones
Hella Fog Lights
Exedy Stage 1 Clutch (15k miles)
Power Enterprise timing belt (15k miles)
WRX and Blitz Front Mout Intercoolers
STI motor and trans mounts (from my 05 STI approximately 30k miles when pulled)
STI duracon shift ****
STI titanium key
Maintenance
Pulled motor 2 years ago and changed both valve cover gaskets, installed new passenger side axle (CV boot was torn), clutch, timing belt. Also swapped trans. Did clutch slave and master a few months later. Last year had the car aligned at Island Brake & Alignment. Also bought 2 new tires from Sams Club. Flushed the radiator. Changed front o2 sensor (March 2012).
Extras
STI catback exhaust-included with car
WRX trans (needs rebuild-syncros)-included with car
Stock front bumper-included (if you want to switch back to TMIC)
STI Top Mount Intercooler $100
SSR Type C 18" rims with tires $800
VF39 turbo from my 05 STI (30k miles) $offer
Oil changed every 3,000 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic 5W30. Body is in poor shape-keyed on drivers side, passenger side and trunk (courtesy of your local i-club psycho). Also has dings. Car has been very well maintained since I bought it 2 years ago. I invite you to find a better running 02 WRX that DOES NOT leak, has a recent timing belt change and clutch change. I spent over $2,000 on PARTS alone. Yes, I have all the receipts which will be provided to new owner. Trans is alright but will eventually need rebuild-common 02/03 wrx issue due to poor trans design.
***Photo is old (several years ago). As mentioned, car has dings and keys. Would be a perfect Rally X car
Asking $6000/offer

I want to know who would key your car. That is retarded.
Hurting people emotionally or physically is fine, but don't mess with their car.

cory, or anyone else who rallys.....i was wondering, to rally, do you have to have a legit car...does it need to have safety, registration, insurance up to date? i know, i know, my lazy as$ can just look it up, but i figured id just ask someone on here:P haha. if not, ill call my friend....just didnt want to bug him with dumb questions lol. i know people on here know the answer though. also, was thinking if no takers, ill just keep and rally. i said earlier that i cannot afford 2 subaru projects, but my sti shouldnt be eating anymore of my money once its done....or thats what i keep telling myself:P

Longer answer: We do conduct tech inspections, mainly for safety purposes. We make sure the car is mechanically sound, e.g. brakes feel okay, steering okay, seatbelts work, battery secured, body parts secured. There are a couple of cars that have participated that are not street legal. Its up to the driver on how they get their car to the track (we had one guy tow a car on the trailer and I have a car that currently stays at the track). No need insurance, safety or reg.
If you have any specific questions, you could ask Cory or myself as we are the two Tech inspectors. If you want to try Rally, you can usually get a co-drive. We allow up to 4 drivers per vehicle and I have had 2 full vehicles. I have an 03 bugeye so let me know. I will say that they work great for Rally. If you saw mine though, know that the damage is not from Rally but from HulaX which is an entirely different animal.
Your bugeye sounds like a perfect Rally vehicle and I hope someone picks it up. I was actually thinking about that as my bugeye is beyond repair bodywise but running mechanically great (looking for a body to swap).
Our next event is on May 19. If you are serious, let me know and I'll get you into a SUBY. Or stop investing in your WRX and bring it out to Rally!
And no dumb questions. We have been trying to spread the word about Rally since the term can be associated with so different levels of racing in the dirt.
