06 Tail Lights

anyone with an 06 wrx/STi wanna trade your tail lights for my 04s? for some reason i seem to be the only one that likes em

hehe i wanna bake open one of those 06 tailights and see what i can do with a can of spray paint, lol or maybe see if i can somehow make clears by swapping the lenses lol

I've seen the 06 lights sprayed black and it makes them look ALOT better.

Painting em black or the same blue of my car ;p i think that would be sweet...talked to a mechanic at 5star and he said the lights wont fit...gonna still try though cause i really want em

Of course it will fit! God I hate 5 star...

Even the 02/03 lights plug right into the harness from an 04/05... they don't have the little notch in the bumper but they "fit"

Seems like they got rid of any unused portion of the earlier models, for the 06, every bulb and filament is used.. no wasted space or wiring huh.

i know anything will "fit" but i want no excess spaces or chances for water to get in...im hoping they are the exact size of the 04-05 lights and will go right in with no worries
