After reading this post... I am moving there in a month and was thinking of selling my WRX before coming there.
Before finding out about the move, I was going to get my car tuned, but thought of selling it after I found out I was moving... before the tune I ran a best of 12.8 (self tune utec) But I live close to the TXS guys... so maybe I will have it tuned and then bring it out there and shoot for the record. (not that I could pull it off, I suck at driving)
That is a really good time with what you have done. You must be a good driver. Most guys around here with those times are running larger turbos then the VF34.
Money will be the deciding factor....

We also only have 92 octane gas... It's up to you, and the car would probably run better than on a generic tune but it seems like it would be money a bit wasted if you change up all the variables.
Ask your tuner what they think.
