the BOUGHT the wrong stuff sale thread!

Hey iClub looks like I bought the wrong hood scoop... Lol I needed a JDM 02/03 STi scoop... So I figured it would fit.

Brand new never even test fit it $300 just trying to get my money back!!!

I also purchased a tial q bov w/ IPR flange (tmic friendly) brand new in black, I could use it if I had the right spring... but anyways want to get my money back on this one too so $300 or trade + cash if you happen to have a GFB response bpv that would be awesome! or even turbo smart!

Tial Blow off Valve w/ IPR Flange for 02-11 WRX/STi Import Image Racing

Is that a real carbon one or fiberglass with an overlay?

There is no such thing as a "real" carbon fiber hoodscoop. This and all carbon fiber production hoods are overlays.

All the ones I have seen recently have been overlays. And I am under the impression that seibon uses overlays as well, but I wasn't going to question anymore because I have no interest in buying it.

However!! I did own a 02/03 sti scoop that I believe to have been all carbon. I also owned a scoop like the one for sale here that was clearly an overlay. Working in the bicycle industry for some time and seeing plenty of shattered carbon frames, I feel pretty confident I can tell the difference.
