not if you buy it online from an out of state seller (such as cobb, unless youre in Utah) and even then, shipping will cost less than tax. I got mine in a packaged deal, so I spent about $550 for it, and then an hour of tuning and some other stuff. $580 is a good selling price though, most people sell them for $595, the price of a new one (since they dont wear out like other parts after being used) from cobb
