I ALMOST got these rims from Vivid, but they told me one of the rims was in crappy condition, and that I wouldnt want it... i was getting a set of 4 for $2000 w/ Falken FK452 tires... you got ripped off wherever you bought it from... but anyway, BUMP for some sweet rims

Ahhh, I don't know about getting ripped off. If you pm almost every vendor about these wheels, the cheapest price you'll find is around $2k shipped......and shipping to Hawaii will be additional on top of that. This is a friggin awesome deal, not to mention the fact that you don't have to wait the typical 3 months if the dealer doesn't stock the exact bolt patter, width, and offset you want. Free bump for the seller and for a GOOD deal.

Dude, Vivid had it in stock I didnt have to wait 3 months, they were gonna send it to me for $2100 shipped, this included tires... with the kind of pricing he was getting, it would've costed him -at least- $2500 with tires, so I basically saved $400, another bump

Shops/vendors are in the business of selling stuff. If the shop tells you "the rim is in crappy condition and you wouldn't want it".....chances are pretty good, that wheel looks like sh-t, whether it be scratched, dented, gouged or whatever. In that case, you just spent $2100 on 3 wheels, 4 tires, and 1 wheel that is in "crappy condition, and that you wouldn't want." Not too sure if that's a killer deal or not.
As for being in stock........ I personally haven't seen a +37 offset very often. If you buy something just because they have it in stock, great. However, maybe he wanted a specific width and offset. Since they come from Japan, just like Volks, Works, etc.....sometimes you got to wait.
Not trying to start a pissing match, but I really don't think that the OP got "ripped off" as you say. The price he paid is in line with a NEW and UNDAMAGED set with similar specs from most Suby vendors. Just because you ran into a "good deal" (if you want to call it that), doesn't mean he got ripped. Yea the wheel in crappy condition... thats why I got an upgrade to the Super Advans you see on my car, all 4 wheels + tires in brand new condition for $2500, normally the rims are $600 each, so I think I scored a great deal. I'm just pointing out he could've got a better price
