Okay so here it is.
I no longer have my Z06, long story short, it's not a car to be driven in anger.

Good news:
Insurance company paid out more than I bought the car for.
I'm okay, and no one else was hurt

Bad news:
My insurance is gonna be a bit high, to say the least.
I don't have a vette anymore.

So I'm gonna build a "cheap" car, so that insurance will be easier on the wallet.

What would you all build ?

1) a sick s13, widebody, sr20, s15 face, LSD, paint, etc,etc target 400 hp.

or

2) 90-97 miata, turbo, widebody, hardtop,paint, full suspension, sitting on 265's in the rear, on RA-1's full time, target 240hp at the wheels

 

Awwww man, sad to here. That wide-body Miata looks very good, but I admit, I do have a thing for Silvias, particularly the S15.

 

A turbo miata would definately be fun.. but i'd think the s13 is better suited for any kind of collision also.. the miata can probably raise some safety concerns ..

Other then that, 240hp in a little miata might be a monster both in the straights and in the twisties.. but even then, you might outgrow the miata because of the basic fact that it's so small. 8-)

Do the Miata. You dont want to be like everyone else and build another 240sx.

sucks to hear steve. but i would say go with the s13. but its your car, your choice.

 

I say Miata...Silvias have been done too many times.

Since you have your Corolla you shouldn't have to worry about a daily driver or the fact that the miata is so small.

moving on.. at 1st i thought s13.. cuz that's what i'd want.. but now i remember that time we saw that nice/sick miata pass by in front of vakamon... so.. its a toss up.

maybe we gotta mull this over while downing a few beers
