You have lots of good discussions going on. Why do you insist on posting in HI forum and not in FI forum, for example? Please keep the discussion inside here to local matters only. Discuss technical questions in the appropriate forums.

that's the only way we can keep our post count up close to the Bay Area forum

 

We've got our own 4 or 5 gurus. We just pester them.

They don't seem to flame near as hard as anywhere else.

Please post them outside. I will move them if I see them. I just don't want to spend time doing that.

There is no other way to establish yourselves as "guru's" as to post and participate it tech discussions in tech forums.

Plus, there is post count there.

Alex, why don't you make some of our people mod's in the tech/other fourms? That would make us leave our happy little home in the Hawaii section.

 

Yeah, maybe if I was the mod of the general or gallery forums. I could kick this site up a notch, BAM! Oh and give it a little order.

I can tell you I sure dont want to dig through the other forums looking for information when I can post here and know its local and good information I am getting back. If I ask about what people use Im curious what HI people use not the rest of the world who I could care less about. Grr...

If you were to ask about, e.g. Unichip performance specific to HI humidity and temperature, you can post it here. Otherwise, post it in Tech forums. However, do not abuse that and post such questions with a make up HI application just so that you can post it here.

I really don't want to spend time moving posts around and I will if I have to, but I am just asking to do that. Plus, that will spike up good discussions there. I need that to be able to get the i-Club back to speed.

So please, do so for me.

sounds ****, but I understand that a lot of other regions don't go checkin' out other regions forums.
We could always just throw a thread with a link to tech forums so our Hawaii guys know that we're talkin' to them right?

Alex, frequently when I ask a question in the HI section that my be a tech question is because I want a HI guy's answer.

If it's something that I want ANYBODY to answer, I'll throw it in a tech forum. sometimes I do both.

 

If you post in tech, HI people + more will answer.

Unless you are going to tell me that HI people do not read other forums, then I am completely confused.

This is a tech forums WITH regionals, not Regional Club with junk attached to it.

 

Ok, I'll buy that. Those two statements made the most sense. We don't pay for it, so we should use it for it's intended purpose. If we paid membership dues, then we should be able to talk about whatever the hell we want where ever we want. We don't, so we can't; right?

I can understand, we dont pay for this site, we dont contribute anything but chatter. I guess this Hawaii forum has allowed me to get to know people where I am about to move to and I am looking for "their" opinions and not the whole world.

I guess we all need to just use our best judgement with posts. I mean if am asking about wheels and tires Im curious what is most common and what isnt in Hawaii, not Kentucky or Iowa.

Ok, enough out of me. I'll give ya a wooden nickle to allow us to continue as we have been in here! You know the word "nickle" is one of those that just doesnt look right spelled out. Hmm...

We all appreciate this site being here, thats for sure. Dont doubt that.
