hey guys

I was thinking of taking my car down to a Jiffy Lube and having them flush out my tranny fluid...shifting gears recently has been really hard and with almost 30K miles i have a bunch of things i should get flushed...coolent, tranny fluid, engine flush etc...would you guys let them do your car? the one on punchbowl where a bunch of kids....they took my Shift magazine and never returned it...that was when i took my work car down to get an oil change....i was thinking of going to the one on university or dillingham....what do you guys think?

No, if you need help I'll be glad to help. Do not let them do anything, but maybe your coolant flush. Only let them do that if it is cheap and they will put some water wetter in.

 

only one i would is the one one in kaneohe jiffy lube. the one in sears. one of my customers i sold a wrx to works there... but then again there are tons of nice guys here that are willing to help.

I go to the Jiffy Lube near University...an I-club member works there and I've taken many cars there over the years.

Can't work on my car at home.

 

There's a lot of WRXers that work at the Pearl Kai location, got about 5 or so.

 

I would take my car to the Shell Rapid Lube in Waipio, because my friend is the owner of the place, and I know he does a good job.

I can't work on my car at my apartment.

 

yeah i work at pearl kai jiffy. me, jeebs, 1fastwrx, my friend ian and another guy with a wagon. lol. i mean if some of you guys don't trust then its cool. i always do the i-club guys cars when they come in. mostly for trans or oil. most of the time i can hook it up if you bring your own fluid. less mess for you guys. just can't do too much at a time if you know what i mean. the manager is kinda getting it from his boss about it. andrew always comes by for oil change and trans. just gotta come at the right time. huby give andrew a call if anything if you wanna bring it in. just bring your own fluid. laters

Oh crap I didn't know you could bring your own fluid!

Is it only for you guys? I just had jiffy do my tranny fluid but I think they used a junky fluid because I am grinding into 1st when I downshift from anywhere above 10 mph. I'm gonna change to Redline MT90.
