If you go to the xbox site there is a link to order a new cord. You key in your serial number (on bottom of xbox) and it will let you know if you need to order a new cord.
At least they make it easy to get a replacement.

Ehh I zap my self all the time at work might as well do it at home to. Keeps things simpler

 

that's crazy. what's even crazier is that i just checked my e-mail and they sent me a notice that my x-box may be one of the "problem children". oh well, it'll be a fun 2-4 weeks wait for my power cord......lol
