Alrighty, let the rally begin...but first don't you think Colin McRae is kinda overrated as a driver?
Anyways, the game is a 7 on a scale of 10. This used to be my fave rally game until the WRC series came out. Game play is good but the physics is kinda iffy. Guess it is more like an arcade than a simulation.
At least this time you don't have to be Colin with his Ford (as in CMR3) in the simulation or career mode. Even with these faults, it is still fun since the new Subaru WRC is here. Not to mention the $30 price tag at Toys n Joys. For you XBOX live dudes, it does so...

The live option is only to upload scores. The biggest advantage of 04 is that you can race any car when you do the seasons. I think there are a few new cars including some of the other classes (2WD, etc..). CM is suppose to have better (more realistic) physics then most games, but that doesn't always equate to better game play. Without a force feedback wheel is really hard to simulate the real experience.
It's a good upgrade to 03, but nothing earth shattering in my opinion. Rallisport Challenge 2 sounds like it may have better potential for xbox live play.
