did he take his car to them? I'm just wondering if his car was tuned for his specific setup, or if it was a general map or something?

The map was fine. There were other issues that resulted Subydude's motor problem.
Low oil, too small a turbo working wayyyy too hard thus overheating the IC (making the car lean) running ECUtek AND Boost controller (making the car MORE lean). All that, plus the abuse on the track resulted in some pretty good detonation.

Thanks for weighing in on this one, Chris. In almost all cases curiosity doesn't kill the mill, det. does.

Plans are to rebuild and install proper guages (EGT, oil pressure and temp).

Ps. of course since we will be replacing pistons, the cylinder walls will have to be trimmed. Perhaps we will go to a 2.6 hmmmmm
