yes to good games today. i can't belive the swedish missed that penalty kick to make it 2-1 oh wells. swedan will never beat germany. and the argentina game was a great game. and yes great last goal for the win.

 

looking at the italy-australia game. most of the australian starters all play in europe. tie that with a very experienced european coach namely gus hiddink and you got yourself a team. and the way that the italians have been playing, well, let's just hope that their well known defense can hold them up. that should be a great game.

but yeah, the last goal by rodriguez was purely spectacular. that's south american football for ya!

 

yeah, larsson is better than that. well, i guess it's the psychological part of PK's. germany has too much experience to lose to sweden. in fact, i'm looking at germany, holland, and brasil as guarantees, but i would love to see spain upset brasil. i'm just a spain fan.

 

WOW! what a game, portugal vs. holland. i don't know why ruud didn't play. van basten is pretty dumb. and ho, that ref was horrible! couldn't control the game for crap. gotta give credit to maniche though, that goal was just beautiful. any opinions, views of the game?

i think england is gonna have a hard time with portugal though. portugal's attack is just crazy.

How do you soccer heads feel about the PK shoot out? I personally don't really like the game to end like this... I prefer "Golden Goal" or like how American Football OT operates.
