went to the track tonight hoping for at least a 12.9 run. i had about 5 13.1 runs. over and over again i kept getting a 13.1. my friend was telling me that they didn't spray the track with d.H.t. or something. i dunno. even the tower guy was rooting for me to at least hit 12.999. nooooo. 13.1 again. imma strip my interior soon.

 

damn...hope you hit 12's soon... i have still yet to get to the mid/low 13's...

 

dave don't worry to much about it, it will come...might just take time....maybe the colder season you might do better....

 

i hit 15.4 four times in a row...maybe try a different method of launch? my best time came from burning my clutch at 5000rpm and letting the e-brake go when the tree hits green...but then yet again, my clutch died on me 3AM on the H-1 by the airport....

 

what is the condition of your tires?
what kind of gas are you using?
what are your 60' times?

don't strip your interior to get the number.. you should be able to do it in it's current condition right now "FULL INTERIOR"

my best is a 13.2 and i went wednesday night and didnt get better than a 14.1, some nights are just boo boo sometimes, good luck though

wow 13.1 is a really nice time for just an ap and dp. What were you trapping at, what was ur 60ft, and how did you launch? I wish i could hit 13.1

 

ummm 2 of my runs i was traping 100 miles the others was only like 99- 98 just shy. on another night i was traping 100 but my times were like 13.2 everytime. my 60fts were all in the 1.7XX range. i was pretty much killing off the line. i just reved it up till i pasted 5000-5500and timed it to the light when i feathered the clutch out. same ol stuff i learned to do from my old rex. oh well, one day one day.
