Why I bought my car from Shaggy

Well, I've dealt with a fair amount of car salesman in my life. The second I smell BS, or you give me even a hint of why I don't think I can trust you...I'm gone.

Anyway, I went shopping at Servco for my Sti and met 'ol ****. Seemed like a decent fellow, and most importantly, didn't spew some BS and all yappity yappity at me. I don't remember if we went for a test drive that very day but it is possible. Here is where I get VERY impressed. **** gives me a full briefing on the do's and don'ts. I think the don'ts outweighed the do's, but there was a reason for that. And it is quite simple. If I didn't buy that particular car, someone else will, and they damn well have the right to know that their car wasn't mistreated by an overzealous car salesman looking to make a sale. We drove around a little bit, never breaking approx. 3500 RPMS.

I was of course, impressed by this guys integrity. I knew that any other car I would potentially buy would not have had the snot beat out of it. He had fully earned my trust. I can not over state how much that means to a potential car buyer.

The day I was to pick up the car, I wa asking where **** was with my new wheels. Mr. **** was around the side with the bucket & hose out washing it for me. You guys get my drift. Furthermore, Ric at parts, and Ken at service are the standard by which other dealerships should be judged. I have had nothing but prompt, Professional service from them both.

Good job ****!!

Yeah ****..... it was sixteen months ago. Still have yet to break 4,000 miles.

My word was spoken by truth. I knew from the test drive that you could be trusted. Meant the world to me. And for other forum members that may read my post..... On occasion I call ****, talk Sti & Subaru story, and he's never been "to busy" that he can't talk to me. Yeah again, I bought my car from ****, but he is the same guy that gave me the word about Dan, Burt, Jesse, and the world of Subaru. ****, Dan., Taser, Rico (totaly cool dude),'

It is tough for me to make the meets, Self employment mandates that. But I always appreciate the courtesy you have extended.

I totally agree with this.... I bought my wife a LGT about a year ago and the process was nothing short of amazing. Even though we ran out of gas on the test drive (lol) he was an excellent model of integrity which is so rare with salesmen these days. So from Shannon and I again thanks! She is still proudly rockin' her Garnet Red Legacy GT with Hawaii plates here in the dirty south!

Service there was amazing too! Shannon had the misfortune of dealing with jiffylube (boo) and long story short they screwed up a simple oil change... Servco not only unscrewed her car and they cleaned up all the oil that sprayed out from the warped oil filter they put on it, and every time we took the car it came back clean so kudos to those guys too! We really miss them cause Im still not to sure about the service dept is here, but Im sure it isnt like it was in Hawaii.. nothing is! Anyway Im done ranting we friggin miss you guys!

Don't forget that he's also an attentive lover that doesn't mind giving the reach around.

i was happy to buy my car from shaggy. thanks for everything! i think the squeaking sound when i'm braking in reverse is normal.

the guy that i bought my wrx from in seattle was cool too. we negotiated on the phone and it was quick and painless. the sales guy from the mini dealership was sleeeeazy. wish i had bought it from robert fairchild from autox.
