Who Said Gas Ain't Cheap?

I was at "Lisa's House" (A bar near the airport) last night, because it was my best friend last night before he was deployed for Iraq. The bar closed at 2 so on my way home I notice my tank was really low, on "e". So I stop by the shell gas station on ****** to put some gas in. All I had was $15 so I went inside and the attendant was sleeping. Took me 5 mins to wake her up, I thought someone rob the store and she was dead!!! When she finally DID wake up, I said $15 on 4 and walked out. Sort of upset by the lack of doing her job. As I was pumping, I saw the meter......$10.....$15.....$20?! Huh?! whats going on?.....$30.....$40.....$50. I looked at the attendant and she was sleeping on the key board.. GREAT!!! It stop just before $60... I waited pumped...Waited pumped again. I keep going until the fricken tank over flowed, lol. I used a nearby water hose and cleaned up the over fill, and drove away with a full tank.... In any other situation, I would be the good citizen and let her know of the mistake. But 1, she was sleeping on the job....I could have rob the entire store without waking her. 2, she wasn't cute. 3, Gas is not cheap and I down for free gas any day, anytime, anywhere. So for the women who was on duty last night, thank you...

You gotta go back there every fillup! I usually charge my gas, so that doesn't happen to me. You scored a full tank for $15? That's a buck a gallon!!

I'm gonna hi-jack if you don't mind Dave. Found this on NY times. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/14/bu...in&oref=slogin
The saudi's are increasing they're oil by 1/2 million barrels a day. Although I'm not happy with higher gas prices, we need to face the music. More and more nations need fuel, and we compete to get it at whatever prices the market will allow. Currently it's at $130 a barrel. Think of all the countries that can't afford as much, or have to pay more for it. Basically I'm glad it takes all the monster trucks and Hummers off the road, and their stupid drivers. I personally expect it to hit $5/gal. soon, and don't mind it. I can afford it, and those that get 6-8 miles a gallon (see: hummer, titan's) driving by themselves around looking cool will suffer.
OK, sorry for the hijack, didn't wanna start my own thread...........
