Who Mounts and Balances Wheels...

Who Mounts and Balances Wheels for customers right on the spot?

Who does a good job? I don't want to pay an UNGODLY amount for this service

Who will mount the weights on the INSIDE of the rim instead of the outside?

How long does this normally take?

I went to the Air Foce Hobby shop. Took the wheels off 1 at a time, & they unmounted, mounted the new tires, & balanced them on the spot.

Total price was $60

I don't know about mounting the weights on the inside...you could ask them though.

Total time was about 1 hour...mostly 'cause i'm slow jacking the car up & removing and installing the wheels.

Eurosports did it fast and gave me no nonsense. Even gave me some nice valve caps! It was ~80 bucks for mine.

Eurosport does a great work! I have always had them do mounting and balancing for wheels for my previous car and my current car.

I also go to Costco at Iwilei. They do good work, reasonable cost & time. In fact, the time I had my race rubber flipped on the rims, they did it free! I have been there for tire service of some kind many times...but have never bought a tire there yet. I used to go to Pacific Automotive but they get busy...I would drop off tires & wheels and come back on another day to pick up.

this is the same place as Gemini, right? i took one rim to the one in mililani.. and the girl only charged me $20 on the side.. BUT she didn't know the center cap was really screwed in with allen screws (thought it was jus decoration)... and thought it jus hammered out. i didn' know either. their machine did leave some 'teeth' marks on the inside of the rim...

so watch out for experience and their machine there...

If you have expensive rims, Eurosport is the ONLY place I would recommend. Unlike other shops, their machine will not put any scuffs on your wheels and they always do an excellent job.
sounds like a safer bet to go with if u got some nicer rims. anyone got a price per rim from them?

but since i'm not living close to town... i think i'll try the chevron in wahiawa.. since i heard that owner used to scca race or something..

I guess everyone is saying to go to Eurosport... I guess I could try them... but before I do I have a couple of questions...

Do they EVER answer their phones? I'd like to speak to them first.

If they were to scratch my Wheels will they pay for replacements?

Do they mount the weights on the inside of the rim?

Jon

Do they mount and balance if I just walk them in or do I need an appointment? I know I should call but no ones been answering all day!
