1. Read the forums and "how to threads", and do em yourself to learn more about your car.
2. Go to I-Club meets to make new friends...they may help you out..

i did everything myself on the 04 I had minus the tunning (i like to personally work on my car if i mess it up then is no problem takin the blame but when an unethical mech mess ur stuff up and failed to take resposiblity is a nightmare), and my 05 was complete in california and then ship to HI (i boug an unfinish project from a tunning shop the original owner lost his job and couldnt complete the project he lost the car to the shop, i took the oportinuty bought the car and had the tunning shop go on with the porject plus my own lil parts i wanted on), but any ways there is good guys here with plenty of knowledge that can guide on the right path, also i heard Sonics is good, but keep in mind taking a car to a shop is expensive if you willing to go that route, minor bolts ons are easy and pretty much if u good at reading instructions and improvising on the spot, there will be no problems, keep an oem manua aviable for toque expecifications on certain parts of ur subie, What are you planning to do on your car? are you in Hawaii?

Best of luck on your future planning for your subie

Thanks for the reply guys.. . and yes i'm in hawaii. I'm thinking about dropping in a ej20 motor inside my subie. Just wondering what shops with creditbility that will able to do it without any feature problems. This is currently my daily driver and will soon make it my project car. Here is the following list of things i will order in a couple of weeks.

1. suspension
2. Light fly wheel clutch
3. Headers
4 cat back exhaust
5. Cams

These are the things i plan to order and would like to install it one time. Hope to meet you guys in the near feature. . .

if you want an engine swap done, the best in Hawaii don't even own or work in a shop.

are you planning on doing these mods to the ej20 that you are planning on dropping in? or the stock ej25? personally drop the idea of a ej20 and drop either a ej255, ej257 or go jdm with a ej207. what you want with that light chassis is torque. torque that a 2.5 liter will give you. trust me there is no better feeling in the world like you are about to put your car into a wall.

If you want turbo, give me your RS + a little cash for my 2002 blue wrx that i have for sale.

then I will help you mod it.

I dont think you should put 2.0 in your car btw. You already have a 2.5

change your rods and pistons, put a turbo and larger injectors on it. Way better results....and actually less work.
