Please post a picture of your rims when you get them back from sunset. I've seen these guys around on job sites while Im working but I didnt really think to much on the idea that they did these type of things also. By the way how much for the whole set of rims to get done?

They were able to get them done Thursday, unfortunately when I went to pick them up the wheel color wasn't what I though it would be. It's like looking at damn paint samples - you never know how it's really going to look until the paint is on the wall, at which point it's too late.
Anyway, the color was too light, the wheels looked more light grey/white than metallic silver.
Soooo, they're gonna see about doing them again tomorrow. I'm going to call in the morning to check on the cost of a custom color that they had in their samples that might be better. It's just so hard to tell!
Cost is normally $75 per wheel, which includes stripping the wheels first. A clear top coat is $25 extra, you may or may not need it depending on the color you go with.

Thanks for the update patrick. Im sorry to hear that they didnt come out the way you wanted. Are they gonna coat them for free or are they charging you again? I'd still like to see pictures of them when done.

Anyone know someone on the island who can repair rims besides Freddie's?

I'm hoping they'll go halve-sies with me, but we'll see - gotta talk to them again Monday and look some more at the color options.I'll definitely post pics when it's done.
