Careful if u have any bumper pieces. Tire shop cracked my front lip and alignment shop tore my front sti splitters. Make sure they have the proper rampa if you have any mods. Been a pain in the ***.

Bring two 4' lengths of 3/4" ply with a 2x4 nailed flat in the middle, and use it to get on their ramps. It's not the alignment shops fault your car is slammed.

Island brake and alignment is mega win, and I've heard good things about sonics for a subie shop, but a brochanic is always a better choice IMO.

Is island brake and alignment mod friendly? i.e coilovers and adjustable control arms?

yes they are. you tell them what specs you want and they will facilitate it. they will even provide you with documentation stating the car is safe for recon. granted it is safe....

but i would suggest lowering the car to your satisfaction prior to going in.

Island Brake and alignment....FTW
I've been taking my WRX there for the last 4 yrs.
I have crazy suspension parts and they do the alignment every time.

put it this way, if you're planning to get recon, the inspectors will not give you a lot of hassle if you tell them that you had your car aligned at Island Brake and Alignment. that's how reputable they are.

Island Brake & Alignment - I have been taking my cars to Derrick and Porscha for the last 5 years. Great knowledge, customer service, and they always take care of my cars as if it were their own.

I have it on speed dial - haha
