It's a naturally aspirated car, meaning higher compression pistons equalling more combustion. You dont need and cant force too much boost into a N/A engine. 12s on that set up is not unbelievable. Give the man a break.

I call BS on that one too. The Mitsu RS has the 420A block, similar to my old '98 Neon R/T. I ran mid to high 13's on 7psi with stock internals before going all out and doing the internals and doing 21 psi which only got me 12.5 in the 1/4.

Mitsu's don't own Subarus. Anyone with enough money can make any car ridiculously fast.
BTW, Plymouth is part of Chrysler so technically the car company itself is not out of business. Mitsubishi itself is having major problems selling cars however. This is due to the Mitsu SUV's in Japan setting on fire O_o

Rumor has it Dodge will be selling the Evolutions if and when Mitsubishi bows out of the car business.

On a side note... You guys should have come out to the streetcar shootout last night. People were qualifying with 16.0's on the Import side :P

This is what I'm talking about. It's all about having fun. I'm not bashing DSM's or any group of people. I'm glad that people particapate in events like that. It keeps them around so I can race too. Sorry to generalize like HE did.

To the HE that started this thread If you want to talk about time's talk about times. Don't bash us because we don't have any 11's second Subarus or that you don't go on the day our people go. Besides I could bash on your driving skills all day.

Mike

PS: to anyone that want to learn how to drive (not in a straight line) come to a Solo II or Superlap event and I'll help you as much as possible. Everyone has to start somewhere. Most people aren't born as Michael Schumacher.

yeah that mitsu mirage was a joke for quick 8. hawaii needs to get more compettitive or at least on par with other racetracks elsewhere. but hey, the track conditions aren't so good that not many wants to race here, i have had several damages to my car due to carelessness of the track officials. i didn't feel like running last nite. but i was laughing when they were anouncing the qual. times for import quick 8. take care
