when it rains it pours

hey guys how has it been goin? well i know i've caused some static before not intentionaly but it has happend and i'm sorry bout that. its been over a year and i hope by gones can be by gones. well alot has happend and i'd thought i'd share alot of life's lessons.

1. talk about a your will or your parents will. and where to find it.

2. keep ur payments up todate on ur life insurance.

3. morgtage insurance that covers death is always nice its only a extra few bucks.

well besides that the car thing...

well to make a sad story short. my dad died and now i have to find my own insurance.

so my dad passes. and a few days before the funeral my subie is rear ended by a guy who is ' looking on the passenger seat for his breif case.' my back gets a lil tweaked

well i call up progressive and they tell me that even if the accident isn't my fault my premium rate will go up. What the heck is that. this is the 3rd accident thats not my fault in a year alone. i'm wondering what the heck my rate will look like. later i talk to aig and they say that i will not be penalized for accidents where i am not at fault. so keep your heads up about insurance i'm learning the hard way fast.

and now today the 19 my car is involved in the h1 ewa bound 5 car accident. Again not my fault. and again my back gets the grunt of it. it feels like a 14 yr old kicked my lower back. not to hard to be put out but hard enuff to be uncomfortable. and working out sometimes muscles pull.

then to find out the guy thats that hit everybody doesn't have insurance. I'm glad i have non-insured motorist coverage on my subie.

boy accidents suck!

I am sorry to hear about your father passing away, my deepest sympathies.

That's messed up, that your insurance rates go up and it wasn't even your fault. And yet another accident I have heard of involving an uninsured driver. Last month 2 of my friends got hit (different incidents) by uninsured drivers. I hope everything gets taken care of.

I walk by your car everyday and I didn't notice the damage. I was pretty tired this morning as I was leaving to go to work.

This is for all the all the uninsured drivers out there!

sorry to hear all that. as for your premiums going up that is not right. then again we are a no fault state but most of the times the other company will pay. for uninsured motorist your company will go after the individual personally for the claims. well that is what i've heard.

hope everything works out for you.

hey dean

my deepest sympathies goes out to you and your family...yeah when bad things happen it really does pour...but maybe it's just one of those bumpy roads in life...when i got rear ended by 24hr. fitness the guy had AIG and they were pretty professional about it...i really don't see how and why your premiums would go up even if it's clearly not your fault...my insurance company said that my premium would go up only if i file a claim with my insurance company...i say you should take that guy that caused the 5 car accident to court with everyone else...it's simple...if you don't have insurance...don't drive...the guy took the responsibility of not haven't insurance and driving...now he'll have to pay...good luck with the case...it's good to hear from you again

Sorry man about your lifes events lately. My sympathy is out for you and your family on your fathers passing.

About accidents and car insurances. I have been lucky that I haven't been in an accident but very close on many occassions. My wife however was in an small accident. Some woman not paying attention hit my wife in the back. Luckily she had the same insurance we did, Geico. We paid the deductible but in matter of a few weeks, we got it back. The woman did claim it was her fault tho. That was good.

However, found out my mom was in an accident. It was the other persons fault but a clear shot. She knew what she was doing because she got out quickly, gave my mom her insurance info and then left. My mom was upset and panicking so left the scene and went to work. If my mom didn't leave, she could have gotten the woman for leaving the scene of the accident before police arrived. In any case, the woman claims it was my moms fault but clearly it was the other womans fault because she tried to beat my mom across the street. My mom was driving straight and she was turning but misjudged how close my mom was and boom...crash. Anyhow, my mom is going to hearings and still fighting it.

Life is full of ups and downs. Must take it with stride and learn from it. Life isn't easy but sometimes I do wish it was.

thanks guys for all the warm thoughts.

but to fill you in on what i've been learning some insurance companies hold it against you even if its not ur fault. ie. PROGRESSIVE. i guess it should be agressive.

but my current insurance company AIG will not increase your rate if its not ur fault.

the thing u need to do is call them and ask especially if a claim was made after an accident. what they'll do is increase ur premium wich will increase ur monthly payments to them. and you'll never really catch it.

you may think you are safe since it wasn' t ur fault. also insurance companies like to split blame.
