Dont see 18" Superleggeras on Tirerack, damn. Sorta interested in the Superleggera III Forged 18s. Let me know what you think.

Products, Car Wheels and its on the right.
Not sure about cost, cant find em anywhere online...
EDIT: Ok damn, just saw em and they are 3-piece for about $800 each! Ack... Sticking to Superleggeras I guess, just wish they had gunmetal. Oh well...

I have been debating on those Supperlegga forged 18, or a set of volk gram lights. The 18in OZ P1's that I have now seem to be too damn common, besides the fact they are heavy as hell. Once the motor is finish...they are the first thing to go!
My 2 cents
The best tire/rim combo you go with really depends on what you plan to do with your car (show, AutoX, 1/4 mile, Track Days, etc..).
And of course if you do more then one you have to choose a good balance or have spares sitting around and change them.
Since I'm no expert at what is best for each I'll just say that I currently run Prodrive P7s with Bridgestone S03s. I'm mainly shooting for daily drive, looks and monthy AutoX. Last months AutoX was the first run on this setup and I'm pretty happy. Previous to that I would swap every month and run AutoX on stock rims with Falken Azenis (Greg now has those). The Falken's were great AutoX tires and while I miss them already I don't miss changing tires every month.
Here is a dated, but good link with Impreza wheel info:

You may want to check because Falken Azenis SPORTs don't come in 215/45/17. The closest you will get is 225/45/17 which you have to be carefull about rubbing (i.e. if you lowered your vehicle). Azenis tend to be bigger whereas other tires in 225 pose no problem.
You may be thinking about the Falken Azenis ST-115?
Falken Azenis SPORTSs do come in 205/55/16 though which will fit perfect on the stock rims.

The SSR Comps dont look too bad either and seem light. Would like to find something not as common too...

Also for a 225/40-18 would you go with a 18x7.5? or an 18x8.5? The 7.5 seems the correct one in my newb brain...
Thanks.
