Cool

Werd Bran.

Someone posted a pretty good recipe for wings a few posts back; I do pretty much the same thing, except try marinating the wings overnight in buttermilk. juicy goodness I also add all the salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika and a little corn starch to the flour before breading. Double dredging through that makes the crispiest damn wings.

Over "heat" the sauce with Dave's, then add the butter at the end to thicken and cut the heat to where you want it. I have it dialed in so sweat is just starting to bead on my forehead at the last wing.

Bonus round: homemade blue cheese dressing FTW!!!

ok, I'm now salivating. Why did I do this to myself

Sriracha is not a paste, but it's not liquid like Tabasco. It's somewhere in between. I also love Sambal Oelek. It's a Vietnamese or Indonesian or something, I'm not too sure, garlice chili sauce. Awesome!

I'm in Redwood City, just south of you. I'll keep an eye out for ya. I usually find it in standard grocery stores. We use it all the time for making wings - pretty much similar style to the other recipes mentioned in this thread with a couple drops of Dave's for tongue-scorching goodness.

(Speaking of San Carlos - do you ever go to Jersey Joe's up in Belmont? Friggin' amazing cheesesteak sammiches!)

Still, sad I'm not seeing other mean green El Yucateco lovers out there. Check it out, folks. A green spicy, habanero sauce that just may glow in the dark. Tasty, but not for everyone. Love it with chile relleno burritos.
