What's your derived 0-60mph time?

http://www.sjdsm.com/tech/0_60_calc.htm

Mine would be derived from 7.821 1/8 e.t., 87.04 1/8mph producing a 0-60mph time of 3.72secs.

What about you 2.5l STi beasts out there? You must be crankin' CRAZY numbers!

I'm guessing that calculator doesn't really account for an AWD launch. Our cars will cover the 1/8mi quicker than a FWD or RWD car due to the benefit of the good launch, hence the "calculated" 0-60 time is probably going to be a bit optimistic. Unfortunately, I don't have any time slips around to check. I know from my datalogger (which is reading speed from the ECU's speed sensor) that my 0-60 time is around 8sec, so I'd be curious to see what the calculator says it is based on my 1/8th mi performance.

Edit: Found a timeslip I had entered over on www.scoobymile.com - 9.856 @ 71.64mph in the 1/8th. Lord that's pathetic! Anyway, that "calculates" to a 6.91sec 0-60 time, which is a full second quicker than "reality". (BTW, I'm not saying your 0-60 time isn't quick, because it definitely is, I just don't think it's as quick as that site would lead one to believe).

Pat

It sounds a little optimistic...On one of my better 1/4 mile runs, back in 7/05, I ran a 12.636 @ 107.17mph, with a 1.688 60ft, 8.003 @ 87.50 1/8 mile time. According to the website... my 0-60 mph time is "3.76 seconds" ??? I think it should have been closer to 4.0-4.1 seconds...

My blown '94 Stang comes up with 3.33 0-60mph from 7.64 1/8 e.t. & 96.4mph.
