it's a program like kazaa but with no ads and it's a built in program. meanin' you don't have to start it up and it takes little to no space on your hard drive.

i use it to download my weekly naruto and get my fix when initial d fourth stage episodes come out.

Torrent is a protocol, like tcp/ip to some extent. It is used for p2p just like Gumby said. Go here to find out more about it: http://bittorrent.com/. My favorite client is: http://azureus.sourceforge.net/, and the best site I've found to get .torrents files (called seeds) is http://suprnova.org.

Alright, im not up on this computer thing...I got a question though..

I was looking at the files on animesuki.com and im wondering what the groups mean? Like AF, CX, SnF, Eny, etc? Is it someting to do with the spoken language or something?

yayaya, more anime fans

Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Initial D. I don't need TV when torrents are handy (just LOTS of hd space).

don't worry about those. irc channel names i think. but anyhow, just click on "series" and look for your favorite anime. might not have all the animes you're lookin' for since it is illegal to fan sub licensed anime.

the more people that are seeding the faster your dl will be. if there's 0 seeders then you'll just have to wait or get lucky.

if you're into naruto you should get the videogames for ps2 and gamecube.
