I've sent turbos via USPS Priority w/ insurance and delivery confirmation. Cheaper than FedEx and UPS (both of which are very capable of f*cking up the delivery as well).

Oh yeah, like Nolimit sez. In a box. There was some damage the last time I tried to send stuff in a paperbag.

Seriously, double box the turbo. Put the turbo in a plastic bag first to protect it from pieces of packing material and moisture.Find one box just a bit larger than the turbo and pack it w/ newspaper (I like to use the housing classifieds, people on the mainland get a kick out of some of the prices) and then put that box in a larger box with some foam peanuts. I also like to wrap the inner box well with reinforced tape (the one with the fiber/string in them). This can confuse the bar code readers that are used so I only use it on the inner box and regular packaging tape on the outer box.

A big fuuucking slingshot will be more reliable and secure than OOPS(UPS) or FedHEx

I now use the USPS for everything.

Thanks, Guys!

I sent the turbo yesterday. It weight 14lbs. (with a TON of packaging/insulation) and cost $31.45 to go priority to NJ with $200 worth of insurance on it and confirmed delivery. Not bad at all!

They said no guarantees but they believe it'll be 3-4 days in transit.

Well, as expected you all are right.

Fed Ex decided to drop by my house today (while I was home!) and instead of knocking or ringing the door bell to where I could hear it... They just hung a card on my door saying that they attempted delivery and they'll be back on Monday.

And there's no way to pick things up on saturday! What a bunch of **** smokers! GRRRR.

Guess I ain't puttin' my turbo in any time soon.
