Ok... I'm in the market to get some EDM or JDM projector lights.
I've found 2 sets at the same price
Option 1: JDM black chrome HID (no harnesses included maybe just the ones in between the balast and the lights) They have 38K (23000 miles?) on them. I have pictures and they look brand new in perfect condition. Directly from Japan
Option 2: EDM non-HID with jim hoyd harness already attached. 15K on them with small knicks due to normal day to day driving. From CT
Even though the EDM's come with a PnP harness the previous owner had to splice in to the green/black wires. I am going to be purchasing another set of harnesses that are 100% PnP and no splicing is required. When I buy these harnesses they will also come with the correct harness and leveling switch so that I can adjust the lights from within the car.
Which set should I get?

I'd go for the EDMs for the beam pattern and the JDMs for the HID/rare black chrome... most HID now for the JDMs are the flat black color

I would go JDM, you just have to aim it lower as not to blind anyone with the HIDs. 
Also another thing to consider is, do you have a source for the HID bulb if in the event that HID bulb burns out.

****... someone out bid me and now the price is almost 900 for this set I think I might have to go with the JDMs
