So fellow I-clubbers I will be moving over to Maui for a few months in December for a project. I just want a heads up on where to go, where not to go, what to expect. I know it's a pretty open ended question but I'm gonna need something to do while staying there.

 

lucky bastid!!! they have a track and a huge autox lot. they have awesome roads like haleakala and hana hwy. but other then that you can go to the beach's and waterfalls.

 

Unfortunately I will not have a car while I'm there. Maybe I'll have to buy something.

 

The aloha toy store rents miata's on maui. You'd have much fun in that i'd believe. They also rent many other crazy things like mini's, ferraris etc.

where in maui will you be?

 

Get some Guri Guri at Maui Mall and Sam Choi's for food.

There should also be a butt-naked beach somewhere over there.

 

Sam Sato's dry noodles and white bean manju. Also Takamiyas for okazu (take-out food).

 

Don't forget krispy kreme...

 

Wherever the company gets me an apartment. As I dont know the area and they haven't decided on whether to get me a studio or a shared place, I can honestly say I have no idea.

 

maui is expensive...where ever you go bring money. hahahaha
