Hmmmm....so in (a) the light cannot be shooting it's direct portion of the beam more than 75 feet ahead?
I'm reading this because I also want to adjust my light a little higher to shoot further down. I guess it stands for the "hot spot" of the light not the overflow of it right?

I dont know of any officer who would stand infront of your car and measure how far the light projects. But I guess there is a first time for every thing. I imagine that would be really hard to prove. I think if the light doesn't shine in peoples eyes you should be alirght.

Yeah I decided to go with Silverstars because PIAA Ions at Vakamon were like $100 for a set 
Too much money to spend on bulbs.
