Well guys....
....i got a week left. going back into the military again but this time it will be the air force and not the army. my "hooah" days are over. 
hopefully the af will be good to me. 
i'll be in texas for the next three months then come back here to ship my car and household goods(car parts). my first duty station will be at nellis afb in sin city. LAS VEGAS!
i'm excited to say the least and can't wait to check out the car(party)scene there. i'm sure it's pretty bad *** though.
obtw, my job is electrical power production. civilian equivalent is an electrician or power plant operator. what ever it is, it can't be worse than some of the jobs that i had in the army.
to anyone who has lived in vegas or stationed at nellis, please feel free to give me the 411's.

I lived in Sacramento for 4 years which seems like Vegas (weather and desolation) minus all the fun (girls, cars, gambling) and that wasn't so bad... At least I had a job (and was going to college) and could afford to rent a nice place.

Definitely keep in touch. Good luck in the Air Force and have fun in Vegas. I know I had a good time when I was there last year. Can't tell you much about it other than "The Strip".
