Wanted: Used Nextel phone on the cheap/free...

Hey All,

The screen on my i90 took a crap on me last week and I've been "flying blind" ever since.

My company probably isn't going to be sticking with Nextel for very much longer - so I don't want to have to pay the $50+ to repair/replace the screen on this phone...

So, I'm looking for a free/cheap older phone that can take my Nextel sim card (so I have all my #'s) that I can get a month or two's use out of.

Any thoughts/ideas? Anybody with a Nextel lying around that they'll let me have for a song, or borrow for a little while?

just guessing here, but is the nextel sim card the same style/shape/size as the t-mobile phones??? if so, find a t-mobile phone and "unlock" it, so you can use the nextel sim card...there should be lots of older t-mobile phones you can find for free...

check out this site, to find out how to unlock phones, so you can use any provider's sim cards...

Unfortunately that will not work seeing as how the iden network is totally different than the gsm network. I'll keep an eye out for a cheap/free phone for your rich!
