want an STi hoodscoop

Anyone out there have an STi hoodscoop lying around? I've found myself going faster than normal lately, and I think I could use the airflow.

If you know somone that can hook you with a paint job (WfknRX), Japanparts.com sells them for under $100.00 unpainted. Shipping is about three days.

Re-he-heally. I just might do that and get the side skirts painted, too. This will be my first cosmetic mod... but I keep telling myself it has a functional purpose.

It does, but more so if you can find or fabricate an STi-like splitter and seal for use with your TMIC. The WRX underscoop and seal will bolt back in, of course, but a real splitter setup and seal would really make a difference. I have a Zerosports replica splitter installed but there is a good 1/2" air gap to the intercooler - not good. The WRX rubber seal is pre-molded and will not work with the larger opening of the STi splitter.

I have a line on a splitter. I'm still just thinking about this, right now, but $100 was a lot less than I was thinking. I HAVE A SOLUTION! (honestly, it came to me while I was writing this post.)

Once I get the hood scoop, (this is almost definitely going to happen) we'll talk about the splitter. To speed things along, would you like to buy an AEM CAI? I think there's one for sale in the For Sale by Member Section...
